Based in Cornwall, West Cornwall Pat Testing provide a low cost service to fit into your schedule, including an out of hour’s service. You choose a convenient time and we turn up and test, as result a large amount of our testing is carried out after office hours.
Free Repairs
Items can often get knocked around so we offer Free replacement of damaged plug tops, incorect fuses, minor repairs to plug top wiring. Free re-testing after repairs carried out.
Labels
You will have label on each appliance indicating either a pass or a fail, including a test date, retest date and an appliance ID, But if requested we can leave these off.
Damaged Sockets
As we are fully qualified electricians, we can also replace any damaged sockets we come across whilst testing.
Electrical Tests
Each of your appliances will go through a series of tests. These will ensure that they’re properly earthed and insulated
Visual Inspection
Visual inspection of the appliance, flex and plug top itself. We will look for signs of over heating and damages. Each plug is also opened for inspection.
Records
A detailed record for each appliance that has been tested. This will include an inventory summary.
